Our Official Hiking Photos

Welcome to our official hiking photos page, where we would like to introduce our photographer.

Chad Munn is an up and coming photographer who graciously took a couple of photos for us just because we wanted some professional photos before we hit the trail. We are very pleased with the results and would recommend him very highly to anyone in need of some professional portraits.

His contact link is: www.facebook.com/munnphoto.

He lives in the Salem, Oregon area and we don't know how far he will travel out of the area, but give him a call, I'm sure he'll be happy to talk to you about making arrangements.

We wish we could haul Chad along the trail with us to be our official photo guru, but since he has a business to take care of, he doesn't have the time. (Sigh)  The photos when we are actually on the trail will be far inferior, and we won't be so clean. We guess that goes with the territory!

Anyway, we have just about 3 weeks before we are out there pounding our little hearts out on the trail, 1 more week of work, and we are just about done with the resupply boxes! The excitement has ratcheted up a bit more, whether we wanted it to or not. We thought we would be immune from the excitement and butterflies since we have been through this before, but I guess not.
C'est la vie! What will be, will be.

  1. Pictures look great! Have to ask, what is your dog's name? Also, what type of camera are your using on your hike? 3 weeks and counting....can't wait to follow your journals of the hike.

    1. Thanks Glenn and Carol,
The camera on Marks pack is a GoPro, he loves taking videos. He also has a wind screen on his microphone so hopefully we can get more talking and less wind sound effects. My camera will be the Panasonic Lumix if we can ever find the charger for it! And as for the dog, her name is Angel, she used to be a Guide Dog puppy in training, and you can find out more about her under the tab "Angel the Camp Dog." There's a cute video there.
