We are a married couple who will be celebrating our 25th wedding anniversary on the trail in August. Our home base is Keizer, Oregon, and we have quit our jobs in order to pursue this dream of ours.
This will be our 2nd attempt at a thru hike of the Pacific Crest Trail. We were able to complete 800 miles in 1999, and are now coming back to start all over again in pursuit of a true thru hike.
He is: Legasorus, a 56 year old soon to be retired truck driver. His real world name is Mark, and he loves the wilderness and getting up at the crack of dawn to explore what nature has to offer.
His hobbies are hiking, trains, and flying. His volunteer activities are the prison ministry connected with his church.
She is: Pocahontas, a soon to be 50 year old who will quit the best job ever in order to pursue her dream she has had since the late '70's. Her real world name is Linda. She is not such a morning person, but does see the merit in getting early morning starts on the trail.
Her hobbies are reading, hiking, and baking. Her volunteer activities are raising puppies for Guide Dogs for the Blind - www.guidedogs.com, and prayer ministry through her church.
